Pulse Mapping - Utility Survey Specialists

Technology

Pulse Mapping's expertise in utilising the very latest equipment in Radio Frequency Location (RFL) / Electromagnetic Location (EML), Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Total Positioning Station (TPS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) technologies, ensure we always provide clear, concise and most importantly, accurate survey results.

Radio Frequency Location/Electromagnetic Location

Pulse Mapping - Utility Survey Specialists
RFL/EML is primarily operated in two modes, active and passive frequency detection and is used to locate buried metallic pipes and cables and when in conjunction with a flexi-trace, fibre optic/telecoms ducts and drainage pipework.

Ground Penetrating Radar

GPR is an established geophysical technology, used to characterise the subsurface and investigate underground features.

Pulse Mapping utilise dual frequency GPR systems, providing simultaneous real time results of deep and shallow features, while also recording the data to allow post processing.

TPS and GPS Surveying

Pulse Mapping use the latest Leica robotic TPS and GPS equipment to record our survey data.
